Campaign Markers outside the battle area:
The state of Virginia has two markers, C-55 and N-4.
In addition, four markers (two state, one Civil War Trails, and one in Warrenton, VA) trace General McClellan’s farewell and Burnside’s assumption of command (map).
Chatham Heights (map) – Second Stop of the NPS tour of the Battlefield.
Downtown Civil War sites (map)
Sunken Road / National Cemetery (map) – First stop on the NPS tour of the Battlefield.
Lee Hill / Howison Hill (map) – Driving tour stops 3 and 4.
Federal Breakthrough / Prospect Hill (map) – Driving tour stops 5 and 6.
The Slaughter Pen Farm (map) – The Civil War Preservation Trust’s recently opened interpretive trail.
Stuart on the Right Flank (map) – Southeast of park.
Several markers also detail the Confederate winter quarters (map) and the Second Fredericksburg (map) fought during the Chancellorsville Campaign.
